Rare Children's Literature Available Online

Via the Library of Congress's Rare Book and Special Editions Division comes this collection of 50 digitized texts of old and rare children's literature. Included are kids' favorites such as Frances Hodgson Burnett's A Secret Garden, Dickens' A Christmas Carol, stories from Hans Christian Andersen, and Mother Goose tales for the youngest ones. Most striking are the beautiful illustrations in these old books; this collection is well worth a look.
